Professor Dr. Aza Bahadeen Taha is the Director General of the Medical Research Center at Hawler Medical University. He earned his MSc and Ph.D. degrees in Medical Microbiology (Bacteriology) from the College of Medicine at Hawler Medical University, Erbil, Iraq. He is actively involved in teaching Microbiology, Infection Control, and Patient Safety.
Professor Aza B. Taha has published numerous articles in both international and national scientific journals. His current research primarily focuses on bacterial infections, antibiotic resistance, and diabetic foot infections.
Aza Bahadeen Taha current research work is mainly related to bacterial infection, bacterial resistance to antibiotics and diabetic foot infection.
Aza Bahadeen Taha supervision the PhD student in Microbiology Department, College of Medicine, Hawler Medical University. Thesis title: Molecular and Microbiological Characteristics of Bacteria Isolated from Diabetic Foot Infections.
