The College of Health Sciences was established in 2012. The College of Health Sciences at Hawler Medical University began with the departments of Medical Microbiology and Clinical Biochemistry. In 2018, it expanded to include the Department of Physiotherapy. Today, the College brings together key disciplines in modern healthcare, including Public Health and Nutrition and Dietetics. The College continues to grow and aims to expand its academic offerings in the future, with potential areas of development including Biotechnology and Bioengineering, supporting the preparation of graduates to meet the evolving needs of today’s healthcare sector.
