- Professor Kawa Dizaye was a key member of the Halabja Medical Institute (HMI), where he focused on studying the long-term effects of chemical weapons on health in Kurdistan of Iraq from 1999 to 2002.
- He actively participated in international symposia related to Chemical and Biological Medical Treatment, held in Switzerland, France, and Croatia.
