Dr. Berivan is a double board-certified orthopedic and trauma surgeon with comprehensive experience in healthcare sectors across Erbil, Iraq. She currently holds a faculty position as a Lecturer in Orthopedic and Traumatology at Hawler Medical University, where she actively contributes to undergraduate and postgraduate medical education.
Her clinical and academic interests are centered around developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH) and the integration of orthopedic innovations into clinical practice. As an engaged clinical researcher, Dr. Berivan is involved in several ongoing research projects aimed at improving diagnosis, treatment outcomes, and postoperative care in pediatric and adult orthopedic conditions.
Beyond her academic and clinical duties, Dr. Berivan is dedicated to community service, healthcare awareness, and professional development initiatives. She regularly participates in public health campaigns, medical education programs, and multidisciplinary collaborations aimed at enhancing the standard of orthopedic care in the region.

I have also passed the Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) Part A exam, awarded by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK. I earned my Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.Ch. B) degree from Hawler Medical University.
