Workshop on Accreditation Requirements Held at the College of Pharmacy
The College of Pharmacy, Hawler Medical University, organized a scientific workshop entitled “Accreditation Requirements: MDF, Learning Outcomes, and Teaching Methods” on 6 October 2026 at 10:00 AM in the Pharmacy Seminar Hall.
The workshop was presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Badraldin Kareem Hamad, who provided an informative overview of key academic and educational requirements related to accreditation, with particular emphasis on the Module Descriptor Form (MDF), learning outcomes, and effective teaching methods.
The workshop highlighted the importance of maintaining consistency and alignment between course content, learning outcomes, teaching strategies, and assessment methods as essential components of quality academic programs and accreditation processes.
The workshop concluded with an interactive and productive discussion between the presentery and the attendees. Participants raised questions, exchanged academic views, and discussed practical considerations related to developing module descriptors, writing appropriate learning outcomes, and applying effective teaching methods within their courses.
