On Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 9:00 AM, the Master’s thesis defense of postgraduate student (Soma Faiq Hamad Saeed) was held at the College of Dentistry.
The thesis was titled:
"Enhancement Of Oral Anticancer Activity Of Green Silver Doped Carbon Dot Nanoparticles Derived From Clove Aqueous Extract - In Vitro Study."
The research was conducted under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Shahin Ali Ahmed from Hawler Medical University at our college.
The examination committee consisted of the following members:

2. Asst. Prof. Dr. Hazha Omer Othman - Salahaddin University / Member

The thesis was thoroughly discussed and evaluated. The student successfully responded to the committee's questions and comments, and the research was officially approved.
