On Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 9:00 AM, the Master’s thesis defense of the postgraduate student (Iman Sherwan Mustafa) was held at the College of Dentistry. The thesis was titled:
"Evaluating Some Salivary Inflammatory Biomarkers in Periodontitis Patients Before and After Non-Surgical Periodontal Therapy"
The study was conducted under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Khadija Mohammed Ali from Hawler Medical University at our college.
The discussion committee consisted of the following members:
1. Prof. Dr. Chnar Anwar Mohammed – Hawler Medical University (Chairperson)
2. Prof. Dr. Hashim Mousa Dawood – University of Duhok (Member)
3. Assist. Prof. Dr. Saeed Ali Mohammed – University of Duhok (Member)
During the session, the thesis was thoroughly discussed and evaluated. The student successfully defended her work, providing detailed answers to the committee's questions and comments. Consequently, the research was officially approved.
