Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Prof. Dr. Bassam Karim Amin, the Assistant Dean, Assist. Prof. Dr. Hemen Mohsen Suleiman, and the Director of Clinics, Assist. Prof. Dr. Hoshang Khalid, certificates of appreciation were awarded to the students.
An evaluation panel consisting of Assist. Prof. Dr. Hoshang Khalid, Assist. Prof. Dr. Dilyar Ahmed Baban, and Dr. Intisar Saadullah was established to evaluate the best student cases.
The competition involved (7) groups of fifth-stage students at the College of Dentistry, conducted in a scientific and professional manner.
The competition took place among (7) student groups, designed to highlight the students' professional skills and capabilities.
In this competition, each student within their respective clinic and group presented a single case. This presentation required scientific documentation, clinical reasoning, accurate assessment of the patient's condition, and appropriate treatment procedures, all conducted scientifically from the initial steps to the final outcome.
Following a thorough evaluation and inspection of all students' work in the clinics and groups by the committee, cases from (2) students out of the (7) groups were selected as the best cases to serve as encouragement for their peers.
The selection was based on sound scientific decision-making regarding the patient's care and the effectiveness of the proposed treatment plan.
The College of Dentistry proudly acknowledges this achievement and expresses its appreciation for the efforts of the students, as well as the faculty members for their guidance and support throughout this official activity.
In conclusion, the presenters of the (2) selected cases were awarded certificates of appreciation and were designated as the best cases by the evaluation committee.
On behalf of the Deanship of the College of Dentistry, we extend our gratitude to all students and wish them continued success.
