On Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at 9:00 AM, the Master’s thesis defense of the postgraduate student (Jihad Abdulrazzaq Suleiman) was held at the College of Dentistry.
The thesis was titled:
�"Impact of (II-Irn) Variable Number Tandem Repeat Polymorphism on Regulation of Arginase 1 Enzyme in Asthma Patients from Erbil City."
The study was conducted under the supervision of Assist. Prof. Dr. Ashti Muhammad Amin in the Department of Molecular Biology at our college.
The discussion committee consisted of the following members:
1. Prof. Dr. Aza Bahaaddin Taha – Hawler Medical University / Chairman
2. Assist. Prof. Dr. Sazan Qadir Mawlud – Salahaddin University / Member
3. Assist. Prof. Dr. Karim Jalal Karim – Koya University / Member
Following a thorough discussion and evaluation, the student successfully defended the thesis, answering the committee's questions and addressing their comments. Consequently, the thesis was accepted.
