Fourth-stage students at the College of Nursing, Hawler Medical University, successfully completed their Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) as part of the academic assessment requirements for the current academic year.
The OSCE was conducted under the supervision of the examination committee and academic teaching staff to objectively evaluate students’ clinical competencies across a series of structured stations. Each station was designed to assess essential nursing skills, including patient assessment, clinical reasoning, safe implementation of nursing procedures, communication skills, infection control practices, and adherence to professional and ethical standards.
This standardized examination format ensures fairness, reliability, and comprehensive evaluation of students’ practical performance in simulated clinical scenarios. The OSCE serves as a critical milestone in confirming that students have achieved the required level of clinical competence before graduation and entry into professional practice.
Through the implementation of structured clinical assessments such as the OSCE, the College of Nursing reaffirms its commitment to academic excellence, quality assurance, and the preparation of highly competent and practice-ready nursing professionals.
