The International Labour Organization (ILO) launched the second stage of its advanced training programme, aimed at strengthening employment services, enhancing engagement with employers, and supporting labour-market intermediation in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and Nineweh.
The training, started from November 23 to 27/2025 in Sulaymaniyah, forms part of a comprehensive programme based on ILO guidance to support both jobseekers and employers through employment service providers in the (Ministry of Labour) and( universities.)
The workshop is attended by 45 participants from various organizations, including:
- Employment advisors from Public Employment Service (PES )offices in the Kurdistan Region and Nineveh
- Teams from Career Development Centres in universities across the region
- Representatives from Chambers of Commerce and Industry
At the end of the course, a group photo was taken and certificates were distributed to the participants.
