On 30 July 2022, Professor Dr. Nooraddin Ismail, President of Hawler Medical University, received Martyna Balczyńska, 4th year medical student at 

Medical University of Gdańsk, Poland and Marina Sintes Álvarez-Arenas, 6th year medical student at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Spain after they have completed their placement and exchange period at the College of Medicine and Erbil hospitals through IFMSA.

During the meeting, which was attended by the university vice presidents and IFMSA students of Hawler Medical University, the two students stressed on the positive and fruitful experience of this program in Erbil.
