The College of Medicine of Hawler Medical University in cooperation with the Erbil Directorate of Health carried out a project of providing training on
emergency medicine to the new graduated physicians before starting their jobs at the health facilities. The training was provided by the emergency medicine teaching staff from the College of Medicine. A total of 190 graduated from medical schools of the different universities of Kurdistan Region benefited from the project. The participants were divided into four groups. The project started on on 5 October 2021 and extended for a period of two months. During the training course, the basics and principles of emergency medicine and provision of emergency treatment and care were introduced to the participants, including practical training. Professor Dr. Nooraddin Ismail, President of Hawler Medical University, visited Rezgari Hospital to supervise and follow up on the training course.
