During the First Medical Conference of the Nineveh Medical Association on 26 May 2022, the Association honored Professor Dr. Nooraddin Ismail, President of
Hawler Medical University, for his crucial role in teaching and providing training to Iraqi doctors and surgeons, especially those from Nineveh governorate and during the difficult times of the occupation of Mosul by ISIS.
