Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Ranking for the year 2022 has been published today, 27 April 2022.
Hawler Medical University is ranked 1st in Kurdistan Region and 5th in Iraq.
Times Impact Ranking assessed universities around the world against the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Hawler Medical University is the leading university in Iraq in the Good Health and Wellbeing SDG. Hawler Medical University is also features in the Quality Education, Gender Equality, Reducing Inequalities, and Partnership for the Goals SDGs.
Hawler Medical University was ranked 14th in Iraq the last year in 2021 but this year our ranking has jumped to 5th, which a tremendous achievement.
Professor Dr. Nooraddin Ismail, President of Hawler Medical University, emphasized the importance of this achievement. He congratulated the colleges, the teaching staff, and students of the university and thanked them for their contribution to this important achievement.
