The Directorate of Health and Safety at Hawler Medical University organized a workshop about chemical and biological waste materials and their effect on environment
for the Karokh Command of the Ministry of Peshmerga on 23 November 2021. The aim of the workshop was to raise the awareness of the Peshmarga about this important topic of environmental hazards and how to protect the environment. This activity was part of the activities of Hawler Medical University with the ministries and the community to show the role of the university in serving different sectors and communities. More than 50 Peshmargas participated in the workshop.
