On 22 September 2021, the Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Abdulfattach Abdulrazzaq, visited Hawler Medical University
and was warmly received by the University President, Professor Dr. Nooraddin Ismail. During the visit, the Deputy Ministry attended part of the training course conducted by the Iraqi Independent High Electoral Commission to around 60 teaching staff from Hawler Medical University who will act as supervisors in the election centers during the Iraqi Parliamentary Election in October 2021.
