The College of Nursing at Hawler Medical University conducted an official seminar entitled “Summer Training (Internship) and Outcomes for the Academic Year 2024–2025.”
The seminar was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Yousif Bakr, who provided an overview of the summer training program, its structure, learning outcomes, and expectations for students during their internship period.
In addition, Assistant Professor Dr. Vian Naqshbandi, Dean of the College of Nursing, addressed the teachers and highlighted important updates regarding internship regulations, student responsibilities, and institutional guidelines to ensure effective training and professional conduct in clinical settings.

The College of Nursing at Hawler Medical University conducted a formal seminar to review the Summer Training (Internship) program for the academic year 2024–2025. The seminar focused on explaining the structure of the internship, updated regulations, student responsibilities, and expected learning outcomes.
During the seminar, the internship process and evaluation methods were clarified to ensure a shared understanding among students and academic staff. Key challenges from previous training cycles were discussed, and practical guidance was provided to improve compliance, supervision, and professional conduct during clinical placements.
Future Plan:
Based on the discussions, the College plans to strengthen coordination with training sites, enhance monitoring and evaluation mechanisms, and continuously update internship regulations in line with academic standards and healthcare requirements. These steps aim to ensure high-quality clinical training and better preparation of students for professional practice.
