The College of Nursing at Hawler Medical University organized a professional development seminar entitled:
“Roles & Responsibilities of the Program Development Committee”
The seminar was held today as part of the College’s ongoing efforts to update the academic program curriculum in alignment with stakeholders’ needs and expectations. The lecture was delivered by Assistant Professor Kazhan Dr. Ibrahim Mahmood, who emphasized the essential role of the Program Development Committee in reviewing and revising curricula, incorporating stakeholder feedback, and ensuring compliance with academic quality and accreditation standards.
The College Council, in collaboration with Heads of Departments, will exert dedicated efforts to further develop and enhance the academic program. This will be achieved through continuous review, stakeholder engagement, and alignment with institutional objectives and accreditation standards, ensuring that the program remains responsive to academic advancements, labor market needs, and quality assurance requirements.
The session was attended by College Council members and academic teaching staff, with focused discussions on curriculum development mechanisms, stakeholder engagement, and continuous quality improvement processes.
