On Wednesday, October 14, 2026, the College of Health Sciences at Hawler Medical University welcomed its first-year students. The meeting was attended by the Vice Dean, Dr. Shahin Hazim Mustafa, the Head of the Department of Microbiology, Assistant Professor Dr. Katan Sabir Ali, the Head of the Department of Biochemistry, Dr. Amer Ali Khaleel, the Head of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Assistant Professor Dr. Rundk Ahmad Hwaiz and the Coordinator, Assistant Lecturer Hero Khalil. Student representatives also participated in welcoming their new colleagues and supporting communication between students and academic staff.
