Master’s Thesis Defense
On Sunday, 3 May 2026, at 10:00 AM, a master’s thesis defense was held at the Conference Hall of the College of Health Sciences, Hawler Medical University, for postgraduate student Tara Ghani Nooraldeen. Her thesis was entitled “Extraction and Purification of Nisin Produced by Lactobacillus lactis and Study of Its Inhibitory Action Against Some MDR Gram-Negative Bacteria Isolated from Different Sources in Autism Spectrum Disorders in Erbil City.” The defense committee consisted of Prof. Dr. Salah Tofik Balaky from Hawler Medical University as Chairman, Prof. Dr. Dana Khidr Sabir from the University of Charmo as Member, Assist. Prof. Dr. Aras Mohammed Khidhr from Salahaddin University-Erbil as Member, and Prof. Dr. Khadija Khalil Mustafa from Salahaddin University-Erbil as Member and Supervisor. The master’s thesis was discussed and evaluated by the committee. The student answered the questions and responded to the comments raised by the committee members, and her research was approved.
