Cancer Research & Drug Development

The Cancer and Drug Development Department is dedicated to accelerating the drug discovery process by researching the mechanisms of cancer development, maintenance and metastases. This research, together with that of other institutes, will enable us to develop and test new research models based on system-integrated biology approaches, mimicking in vivo models, to aid in designing new anti-cancer drugs. This department will develop and discover small molecules, antibodies, and nucleic acid-based agents to target the most promising genes and gene products for advancement of preclinical and clinical testing.
