The Council of the College of Health Sciences at Hawler Medical University, comprising five departments Clinical Biochemistry, Medical Microbiology, Physical Therapy, Department of Public Health, and Department of Nutrition and Dietetics is responsible for managing the needs and interests of the college's students, upholding the college's identity, providing academic advising, and fostering relationships between faculty and students. The Council's role includes establishing and controlling the necessary systems and procedures by developing a strategy to achieve the college's goals, identifying and managing departmental needs through evaluation of their aims and objectives, and managing the performance of faculty and staff by monitoring their needs, goals, and objectives.
