On Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., a Master’s thesis defense was held at the College of Dentistry for the postgraduate student Raad Fadhil Mutasim, entitled:
“Effectiveness Assessment of Botulinum Toxin Injection in Masseter and Temporalis Muscles for Bruxism Management”
The Master’s thesis was conducted at the College of Dentistry, Hawler Medical University, under the supervision of Assist. Prof. Dr. Dalیر Qadir Omar and Assist. Prof. Dr. Luqman Fawzi Omar, both from Hawler Medical University.
The thesis defense committee consisted of:
1. Prof. Dr. Kawa Fariq Hassan – College of Medicine, University of Kurdistan / Chairperson
2. Assist. Prof. Dr. Saeed Hamid Saeed – Hawler Medical University / Member
3. Assist. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hassan Ahmed – Salahaddin University / Member
The thesis was thoroughly discussed and evaluated. The postgraduate student answered and explained the questions and comments raised by the committee, and the research was approved.
