In the past period, the College of Dentistry at Hawler Medical University has achieved significant accomplishments in scientific and academic fields. These range from indexing the college's journal in Scopus and publishing dozens of scientific research papers in high-impact-factor journals, to signing numerous scientific Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with academic institutions, colleges, syndicates, and scientific organizations.
One of these outstanding agreements was the scientific Memorandum of Understanding with the Egyptian Dental Association.
Through continuous communication, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Bassam Karim Amin, promptly initiated the first outcome of this agreement: the College of Dentistry became an academic partner for the EDSIC 2026 conference. The conference will take place in September 2026 in the capital, Cairo, with the participation of 10 international academic universities and institutions, 6 Egyptian universities, and under the accreditation of the Royal College in the UK.
We are pleased to announce that two faculty members from our college will be participating as speakers at this conference.
