Today, Tuesday, July 28, 2026, within the framework of strengthening academic and scientific relations, Prof. Dr. Bassam Karim Amin, Dean of the College of Dentistry at Hawler Medical University, received Asst. Prof. Dr. Amjad Abawi Saleh, Dean of the College of Dentistry at the University of Kirkuk, and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of the College Council members.
As a result of this meeting, a scientific and academic cooperation agreement was signed between the two colleges. The aim of this memorandum is to develop cooperation in the fields of scientific research, exchange of expertise and experience, organizing conferences, seminars, and workshops, as well as enhancing student training and scientific supervision.
This agreement represents a significant step towards advancing and strengthening academic ties between the two colleges in terms of faculty, researcher, and student exchange visits. It also covers scientific supervision, the exchange of scientific and academic expertise, conducting joint research and scientific projects, and creating new opportunities for scientific collaboration in a way that serves to elevate the standards of education, science, research, and growth for both institutions.
