On Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 9:00 AM, the Master’s thesis defense of the postgraduate student (Rezhan Ali Ismail) was held at the College of Dentistry.
The thesis was titled:
"Evaluation of Antioxidants, Total Antioxidant Capacity and Expression of Miran-21 in Oral Lichen Planus: A Case-Control Study."
The study was conducted under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Shahin Ali Ahmed from Hawler Medical University, College of Dentistry.
The examination committee consisted of the following members:
1. Prof. Dr. Shihab Ahmed Hamad – Kurdistan Board for Medical Specialties (Chairman)
2. Assist. Prof. Dr. Rebwar Mohammad Hama Salih– Salahaddin University (Member)
3. Assist. Prof. Dr. Asmaa Qasim Rahman – Hawler Medical University (Member)
Following a thorough discussion and evaluation, the student successfully defended her thesis, addressing all questions and comments from the committee. Consequently, the thesis was officially accepted.
