Ceremony for the International Indexing of the Erbil Dental Journal (EDJ) in Global Databases scopus

Today, May 12, 2026, at the Cultural Center, a ceremony was held to mark the official registration and indexing of the Erbil Dental Journal (EDJ) in international scientific databases. The event was attended by His Excellency Dr. Aram Mohammed Qadir, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, alongside university presidents, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdulrazzaq Al-Dabbagh (President of Hawler Medical University), Dr. Ameer Chali (Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research), and Prof. Dr. Bassam Karim Amin (Dean of the College of Dentistry). Also in attendance were the vice presidents of the university, political and syndicate representatives, members of university councils, the Editor-in-Chief of the journal, presidents of both public and private universities, faculty members, and staff.
The objective of this ceremony was to enhance the standards of scientific research and promote the Erbil Dental Journal on an international level. It aimed to serve humanity by introducing the work of local researchers to the modern global scientific community. Furthermore, the event sought to encourage and support faculty members and researchers to publish their scientific findings in the ERBIL DENTAL JOURNAL, which is now recognized by international indexing platforms.
This achievement is considered a vital step in advancing scientific organization and elevating the global ranking and prestige of Hawler Medical University and the College of Dentistry within international publishing platforms.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, and in recognition of the continuous efforts and support of the Ministry of Higher Education and Hawler Medical University for the scientific community, shields of honor and certificates of appreciation were presented to those who played a significant role in the success, development, and international registration of the Erbil Dental Journal.
