On Sunday, December 21, 2025, at 9:00 AM, the Master’s thesis defense of the postgraduate student (Lajan Kakil Hassan) was held at the (Dr. Zewar Qassab) Hall in the College of Dentistry. The thesis was titled:
"Association between Iron Deficiency Anaemia and Some Heavy Metal Estimation in Pregnant women."
The thesis was conducted under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Zhian Sherzad Haider from Hawler Medical University, College of Dentistry.
The discussion committee consisted of the following members:
1. Prof. Dr. Nadir Mustafa Qadir – Salahaddin University / Chairman
2. Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Yousif Mirza – Hawler Medical University / Member
3. Asst. Prof. Dr. Sarwar Nawzad Jaafar – Salahaddin University / Member
The thesis was discussed and evaluated, and the student successfully responded to the questions and observations raised by the committee. Consequently, the research was approved.
