On Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 9:00 AM, in Hall No. 6 at the College of Dentistry, a master's thesis defense was held for postgraduate student (Larin Jamal Hassan) under the title:
EFFICACY OF SCALING AND ROOT PLANING ON SOME SALIVARY INFLAMMATORY AND PERIODONTAL PARAMETERS IN PERIODONTITIS PATIENTS EXPOSED TO HEAT-NOT-BURN VS. CIGARETTE SMOKING.
The master's thesis was supervised by Professor Dr. Chinar Anwar Mohammed and Assistant Professor Dr. Amal Hanna Aziz from the Periodontology Department at our college.
The defense committee members were:

The master's thesis was discussed and evaluated, and the student answered and explained the committee's questions and comments. The research was approved.
