Prof. Dr. Ali Al-Dabbagh, the president of Hawler Medical University, visited the Ministry of Health of the Kurdistan Regional Government
Today, Tuesday, August 4, 2026, a delegation of Hawler Medical University led by Professor Dr. Ali Abdul Razzaq Al-Dabagh, president of Hawler Medical University, accompanied by members of the University Council visited the Ministry of Health of the Kurdistan Regional Government.
The meeting stressed the importance of developing the relationship between Hawler Medical University and the Ministry of Health, especially that Hawler Medical University is the only medical university in the Kurdistan Region and an important resource on training medical and health staff in a scientific manner for health infrastructure in Kurdistan.
They discussed the daily affairs of hospitals and health institutions, the health situation, the process of medical education and specialty education, providing higher education requirements in the field of medicine, solving problems and strengthening the scientific and medical level in order to improve health services.
At the end of the visit, the president expressed his pleasure for this coordination and presented the shield of the Presidency of Hawler Medical University to the Minister of Health.
