The College of Health Sciences at Hawler Medical University successfully organized an important workshop entitled “Hantavirus Infections: An Emerging Zoonotic Threat,” presented by Prof. Dr. Salah Balaky and Dr. Shireen Hama Salh on 18th May 2026 at the Seminar Hall of the College of Health Sciences. The workshop highlighted the public health significance of hantavirus infections, transmission pathways, clinical manifestations, and preventive strategies against emerging zoonotic diseases.
