On 15 September 2021, Professor Dr. Nooraddin Ismail, President of Hawler Medical University, accompanied by the university vice presidents visited the Kurdistan Board
of Medical Specialties. The Hawler Medical team was received by the President of the Kurdistan Board of Medical Specialties, Professor Dr. Ariana Khalis Jawad. During the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Hawler Medical University and the Kurdistan Board of Medical Specialties to foster mutual academic collaboration in science, higher education and scientific research. Establishment of this memorandum of understanding is to enhance the already existing academic collaboration between the two parties and provide a legal framework for such collaboration.
